The INTERESTING GARDENING CLUB was launched in March 2004 to support and encourage gardeners, and to promote an exchange of current and traditional gardening ideas.
French members are very welcome as local knowledge is all important.
The IGC mainly draws its members from the Dordogne and the Charente but is open to all in the region of Aquitaine.
Throughout the year there are visits to gardens of interest, arboretum and nurseries.
The social aspect of the club is met through optional 'Bring and Share' lunches, afternoon teas and picnics which follow on from a meeting or a visit. There are plant and seed exchanges at some meetings and several Special Interest groups such as the Rose and Vegetable cultivation groups meet during the year.
The IGC welcomes all gardeners whether you have acres, woodlands and lakes - or a simple cottage garden.
